Removing a user
Removing a user revokes their access to the workspace immediately. Their previously-authored content stays.
How to remove
- Settings → Team.
- Click the user's row → Remove from workspace.
- Confirm.
The user is signed out of the workspace on their next page load. Their personal Schedulin account stays — they just no longer have access to this workspace.
What stays
- Posts they created (drafts, scheduled, published) remain in the workspace. Their name stays attached as the author for audit history.
- Comments and notes they left on drafts stay.
- Templates they marked as personal are deleted with their workspace access. Templates they shared with the workspace stay.
What changes
- Any draft assigned to them for approval is re-opened to any-approver assignment.
- Channel-level permissions are deleted.
- Their seat is freed up (counts against your plan limit).
Re-adding a user
Sending a new invite to the same email re-adds them with whatever role you pick. Their authored content reconnects to them automatically.
Removing an Owner
You can't remove the Owner. To replace the Owner: the current Owner demotes themselves and assigns Owner to someone else first. Only then can the previous Owner be removed.
