Timezones and posting schedule
Schedulin uses a workspace timezone for everything time-related: posting schedule slots, the calendar, and scheduled post times. This stays consistent even if you travel.
Setting your workspace timezone
- Open Settings → Workspace.
- Set Timezone.
If your team is global, pick the timezone of your primary audience, not your team. A US-East brand publishes in America/New_York regardless of where the social manager lives.
How the schedule honors timezones
- Slot times (e.g. "9am Tuesday") fire at that local time in your workspace timezone.
- Daylight saving transitions are handled — a 9am slot stays at 9am local time before and after the clock changes.
- Scheduled-at timestamps on individual posts are also stored in workspace timezone.
Per-user display timezone
You can choose to display times in your local timezone even though they're stored in the workspace zone:
- Open Settings → Profile.
- Toggle Show times in my local timezone.
The calendar and post lists show converted times for you, but anyone else viewing the workspace sees them in workspace time.
Best-time-to-post suggestions
When you're picking a time, Schedulin suggests slots based on the channel's historical engagement (when your audience tends to interact). Suggestions are computed in workspace timezone.
