Drafts and content ideas
Not every post is ready to schedule the moment you think of it. Schedulin separates two states:
- Idea — a rough note, a link, or an image with no caption yet. Lives in the Ideas board.
- Draft — a post with a caption and selected channels but no scheduled time.
Both are private to the workspace and don't publish anywhere until you promote them.
The Ideas board
Open Create → Ideas to see the board. Add an idea with the + button. Each idea has:
- A title
- Optional notes
- Optional media (paste or upload)
- Tags (e.g. "Q3 launch", "podcast clip")
Use ideas for raw inspiration — a tweet you want to reply to, a screenshot you want to write about, a topic to come back to.
Turning an idea into a draft
Click an idea → Create post. The composer opens with the idea's media and notes pre-filled. Write the caption, pick channels, and either save as a draft or schedule.
Drafts
Drafts appear in the composer's draft list and on the calendar in a muted color. They don't publish until you set a scheduled time or send to queue.
If your workspace uses approvals (see Approval workflow), drafts move into the approval pipeline when you click Submit for approval.
