Creating carousels with AI

The carousel generator drafts a multi-slide Instagram or TikTok slideshow from a short topic, lets you edit every slide in your browser, and hands the finished images to the normal composer so you can schedule them like any other post.

You'll find it under Create → Carousels.

1. (Optional) Set up a brand

A brand is a reusable "brain" that grounds every generation in your voice. Go to Create → Carousels → Brands and add:

  • Niche — what your account is about (e.g. "SaaS growth").
  • Audience — who you're talking to (e.g. "early-stage founders").
  • Tone of voice — how it should sound (e.g. "direct, punchy, a little contrarian").

You can reuse a brand across every carousel, or skip this and generate without one.

2. Generate a carousel

  1. Click New carousel.
  2. Describe what the carousel should be about — for example, "5 mistakes new founders make when pricing their SaaS."
  3. Choose how many slides you want and the format (4:5 portrait is the default and works best on Instagram).
  4. Optionally pick a brand.
  5. Click Create & generate.

Claude writes a scroll-stopping cover slide, one idea per content slide, a call-to-action slide, plus a suggested caption and hashtags. Generating costs a small amount of AI credits; if it ever fails, your credits are automatically refunded.

3. Edit the slides

The editor shows your slides live. You can:

  • Click any text to edit the heading, body, or CTA directly on the slide.
  • Change the background — gradients, a solid color, or a background pack — and apply one background to every slide at once.
  • Adjust text color and alignment per slide.
  • Add, remove, and reorder slides.
  • Edit the caption that will be attached to the post.

Changes save automatically as you work.

4. Schedule it

When you're happy, click Export & use in post. The slides are rendered to images, uploaded, and dropped into the composer as a carousel with your caption pre-filled. From there you:

  1. Pick the Instagram and/or TikTok accounts to post to.
  2. Review the caption.
  3. Schedule, queue, or publish now — exactly like any other post.

Instagram carousels support up to 10 images; TikTok photo carousels support up to 35.

There's also a free, no-sign-up Carousel Maker on our website that runs entirely in your browser if you just want to design and download slides without AI.
