Attaching media to posts

The composer accepts images and videos from your device, the media library, cloud sources, or Canva.

Ways to attach

  • Drag and drop files into the composer.
  • Click the media button to open the file picker.
  • From the media library — files you've used before are reusable.
  • From Canva — see Connecting Canva.
  • From cloud — Google Drive.
  • Paste an image from your clipboard.

Supported formats

  • Images — JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, GIF.
  • Video — MP4 (H.264), MOV, WebM. MP4 is most reliable across networks.

GIFs are converted to MP4 for networks that don't accept GIF directly.

Size limits

We accept up to:

  • Image — 30 MB.
  • Video — 1 GB.

Networks have their own lower limits — we re-encode video where possible to fit. If the source is too large to fit any destination network, the composer warns you on attach.

Carousels

For multi-image posts (Instagram, LinkedIn carousels), drop multiple files. You can reorder them by dragging. Each item is validated independently against the destination network's rules.

Aspect ratios

Each network has its own accepted ratios. The composer flags any media that's out of range for a selected channel and offers to crop. See:
