Using Kick with Schedulin
Schedulin publishes to Kick through Kick's official public API. You can schedule chat messages to your own channel — handy for going-live reminders, scheduled announcements to your community, and event countdowns.
Connecting Kick
Connect on the Channels page. Click Connect a channel, pick Kick, and approve Schedulin at Kick's consent screen. Once connected, your channel shows up in the composer as a destination.
What you can publish
| Post type | Media | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Chat message | — | Sent to your channel's chat as you |
There are no per-post settings for Kick — you write the message and schedule it.
Caption limit
Kick chat messages are capped at 500 characters. Longer text is trimmed to fit before we send it.
No media
Kick chat has no attachments. If a post has media attached, Schedulin publishes the text and ignores the media — so write Kick posts to stand on their own.
Analytics
Kick chat messages don't expose engagement metrics, so there are no analytics for Kick posts and no "best time to post" analysis.
Known limitations
- Text only — no images, video, or clips.
- No metrics — Kick doesn't report reads or reactions for chat.
Troubleshooting
"Kick reported the chat message as not sent" — Kick refused the message. Check whether your chat is in follower-only or slow mode, or whether the wording tripped a moderation filter.
Connection stopped working — reconnect from Channels and approve every scope.
