Publishing your first post
End-to-end: from a fresh account to a live post on one of your channels.
1. Connect a channel
- From the dashboard, open Channels.
- Click Connect a channel and pick the network.
- Sign in to the social account and approve the requested permissions.
You're back in Schedulin with the channel connected. See Connecting a channel for network-specific notes.
2. Open the composer
Click Create → New post. Pick the channel you just connected (you can select multiple).
3. Write the caption
Type or paste the post. The composer shows a character count per channel and highlights when you're approaching a limit.
If you want, click the AI assistant icon and ask for help — "Write an introductory post about my podcast" or similar.
4. Attach media (optional)
Drag an image or video into the composer. Or click the media button to pick from your library, Canva, or your device.
Schedulin checks size and aspect ratio against the destination network and warns you if anything looks off.
5. Schedule or queue
You have three options at the bottom:
- Post now — publish immediately.
- Schedule — pick a date and time.
- Add to queue — drop into the next available slot in your channel's posting schedule.
For your first post, Schedule is usually easiest — pick a time 10 minutes out and watch it publish.
6. Verify
Once it publishes, you'll see it in the Sent tab. Click through to see the live post on the network.
