Exporting and scheduling clips
Once a clip has rendered, you have two ways to use it: schedule it through Schedulin, or download the MP4.
Send to scheduler
From the clip view or the project list, click Send to scheduler. This opens the post composer with:
- The MP4 attached as media
- The clip's caption pre-filled (you can edit before publishing)
- A suggested 9:16 placement (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
Pick your channels, set a time, and schedule as you would any other post. The clip stays linked to its project — if you delete the project later, scheduled posts that reference the clip continue to publish normally.
Bulk scheduling
To schedule several clips at once, select them in the project view and click Schedule selected. Schedulin spreads the clips across your queue using your channel's posting schedule. You can adjust individual times in the calendar after the bulk action.
Download
Click Download on any clip to grab the MP4. The downloaded file:
- Is 1080×1920, H.264, with burned-in captions
- Has no Schedulin watermark
- Matches exactly what would publish through the scheduler
Use this if you want to upload manually, edit further in another tool, or archive the clip.
Caption per platform
The post composer treats each platform's caption independently — you can tweak hashtags, character limits, or mentions per channel without changing the others. The clip's transcript-derived caption is just the starting point.
Notification publishing for Instagram
For some Instagram post types that aren't supported by the Graph API (e.g. certain Story formats), Schedulin can send a push notification at the scheduled time and you complete the upload from the mobile app. See your channel settings to enable notification publishing.
